Technical Contacts Mailing List

This is a discussion e-mail list for staff who are involved in providing IT&T services at UWA. It is used for sharing ideas and resolving technical issues, as well as for notification of meetings, etc. The Tech-contacts mailing list is managed by the list management software, Mailman, and IT staff can subscribe, unsubscribe, alter their options, or read the list archives using the Mailman web interface. Subscription requests will be held for approval by the list administrator and corroboration that your application is appropriate may be required. Only those subscribed to the list, can automatically post to it. Other posting requests will be at the list administrator's discretion.

Current notices of down-time and network status notices are kept on the web.

In addition to the Tech-contacts mailing list, all those with formal responsibility for subnets are listed on the Subnet Administration database. This subnet admin list is used for official notifications.

Further information about IT at the University, such as projects and governance, can be found on the ITS intranet site (this site is only available from the UWA network).
