Getting Help as IT Support Staff

ITS works hand in hand with you as an IT support person to deliver IT Services to the University of Western Australia. Wherever possible we will provide you with support, advice and direction in order to improve the overall IT experience of users at UWA.

  • Frequently Asked Questions cover common questions.
  • There is a Tech Contacts group set up to facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, problems and to enable open discourse on various technical issues among IT Support staff. The group holds regular Tech Contacts Meetings (this page is only available from the UWA network) and there is an associated Tech Contacts Mailing List.
  • ITS Service Desk have a wealth of knowledge ranging from desktop support to user authentication. In addition they can direct your more technical queries to an appropriate ITS staff member.
  • ITS Network Status Notices may help as we may have already identified the problem you are experiencing and are working hard to resolve it.
