As an unit within Service Delivery, the applications team has several software developers available for development in the following languages: The applications team is focused on the development of predominantly web-based solutions aimed at improving productivity of the university's staff and students. This is achieved by focussing on the following development efforts: - Customised MySource templates for a more enhanced and dynamic web experience
- Utilising Open Standard Web Services for interfacing with existing university systems
- Development of new and complex web sites e.g. On Line Class Registration
- Development of Windows based applications
- Providing the ability of inter-university systems to communicate
- Maintenance and enhancements to existing university web sites
The applications team can also provide the following services: - Reviewing, analysing and proposing system solutions to business problems
- Providing free, detailed quotes for new development work
