Student SNAP VPN

The SNAP VPN allows your computer to access resources available to general computers on the UWA network (such as intranet sites and restricted Library journals). Access to resources that are further restricted (such as your sections own network or general storage) may be possible, however you should consult your local IT support about how this is done.

The SNAP VPN system uses you SNAP Account username and password, so if you have not already done so, you must register for a SNAP account.

Connecting to SNAP
Virtual Private Networking makes a different type of connection to the UWA network, and may be required for access to more complicated UWA systems.
Registering for SNAP
Register an existing account to get a SNAP username and password.
