The University Website Office makes a limited number of standard designs, approved by the University Website Management Committee, available for use in the CMS. The designs incorporate the University sub brands developed by Public Affairs with the University faculties. The standard designs include the following features: - University logo in curved device at top left.
- relevant colour strip for the faculty, school or department
- relevant graphic device for the faculty, school or department
- stripe under the top section extending to the top on the left side
- links to the top level University portals
- a search tool that may be customised to search within a domain
- provision for dynamic news and events notices
- CMS supplied page information at the bottom right of the screen
- various combinations of four dynamically created navigational tools
Extensions to these designs that incorporate the relevant standard design are possible by arrangement with the University Website Office. Designs that modify or do not incorporate the relevant standard design require approval from the University Website Management Committee before they may be made available in the CMS.
