The University Website Office runs reporting tools over websites maintained in the Content Management System in order to provide Site Administrators and Content Custodians with useful information. Site Administrators should pay particular attention to the Expiry, Metadata, Virtual Paths and Links reports as these will notify you of potentially serious errors on your site that may require attention. The reports website can be accessed at: http://reports.weboffice.uwa.edu.au/ Explanations of the reports are available below ExpiryThe Expiry report gives you information on the status of the selected sites pages, and any dates related to it. MetadataThe Metadata report tells you whether the keywords and descriptions have been entered for each page within a selected site. Virtual PathsThe Virtual Paths report tells you where virtual path elements are missing. SitemapThe Site Map report provides a graphical PDF representation of your site. EditorsThe Editors report tells you for the selected site who the site admin, and site editors are, as well as who the page editors are on a page by page basis. LinksThe Links report tells you whether there are broken links on the site. WebalizerThe Webalizer report provides web statistics. ReferrerThe Referrer report provides a graphical PDF representation of the paths taken by users navigating your site. |
