Web Site Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

MySource reports

The University Website Office runs reporting tools over websites maintained in the Content Management System in order to provide Site Administrators and Content Custodians with useful information.

Site Administrators should pay particular attention to the Expiry, Metadata, Virtual Paths and Links reports as these will notify you of potentially serious errors on your site that may require attention.

The reports website can be accessed at: http://reports.weboffice.uwa.edu.au/

Explanations of the reports are available below

Expiry

The Expiry report gives you information on the status of the selected sites pages, and any dates related to it.

Metadata

The Metadata report tells you whether the keywords and descriptions have been entered for each page within a selected site.

Virtual Paths

The Virtual Paths report tells you where virtual path elements are missing.

Sitemap

The Site Map report provides a graphical PDF representation of your site.

Editors

The Editors report tells you for the selected site who the site admin, and site editors are, as well as who the page editors are on a page by page basis.

Links

The Links report tells you whether there are broken links on the site.

Webalizer

The Webalizer report provides web statistics.

Referrer

The Referrer report provides a graphical PDF representation of the paths taken by users navigating your site.
