How do I add a printer to my machine?

All printers supported by ITS have been assigned a 2 character ID code, eg "FG", which should be located on a sticker on the printer itself. Locate this code, and then follow the steps below to connect to that printer:
- Click on the Start menu, then on 'Settings', and finally on 'Printers and Faxes'.
- in the address bar of the window that loads, type in the following:
\\printserv\xx
where xx is the 2 character printer code. This will add the printer to your printer list.
