Connecting to the UWA Proxy as a Staff member

When connected to the internet from outside the UWA network, the UWA proxy allows you to access some information restricted to UWA staff and students (UWA intranet sites, and some Library journals). The proxy can also be used from within the university's restricted subnets (eg in lecture theatres), to access the wider internet. To use the UWA proxy, you require a username and password. To use this system, there are a number of usernames and passwords you might be using. Your existing account must be dial-in enabled before it can be registered for SNAP. Check with your local IT support staff. Your Cyllene Account, you use your username and password eg jsmith (if your cyllene account was jsmith@cyllene.uwa.edu.au) Your Central Admin Account, you use your username@admin and Pheme password eg jsmith@admin (if you admin account was jsmith@admin.uwa.edu.au) The following departmental usernames and passwords can also be used. username@biz (or its derivatives @ecom, @law, @gsm) username@ee username@ichr username@cfs username@library username@maths username@watri
