Staff - Connecting while not at UWA

Many UWA resources are available via any internet connection, however, for some it is necessary to restrict access to UWA staff only. There are a number of ways that UWA staff can access these systems when not at UWA.
Proxy
For access to restricted websites, you may be able to use the UWA Proxy.
SNAP VPN
Virtual Private Networking makes a different type of connection to the UWA network, and may be required for access to more complicated UWA systems.
Staff - eduroam
eduroam allows staff and students from participating institutions to gain network access using their standard username and password just as they do at their home institution. A laptop computer with wireless is required.
Other ways
If you do not have a connection to the internet at all, you will have to obtain at least dial up access. You can do this with one of the many Internet Service Providers.
