I was typing a long message and when I tried to send it, it vanished. Why?
Unfortunately some versions of IMP have an "inactivity timeout" of 25-30 minutes and it does not consider straight typing as "activity". If you are typing a long message, please check the inbox every 10 minutes or so, to avoid losing the message in construction. Alternatively, prepare your text using an editor or word processor, then use "copy and paste" to put it into the message creation field to send. |
