Attempting to access my addressbook causes Webmail to freeze. My personal addressbook does not seem to be available
The most likely cause of these problems is because the default addressbook is set as the UWA Contact Directory and this takes an EXTREMELY long time to load (at least 8-10 minutes), leading many to believe that their personal addressbook is not available. Therefore, please ensure you set your personal addressbook as the default before attempting to access it. To do this: - Log in to Webmail
- Click the Options icon
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Addressbooks option bottom right
- Ensure My Addressbook is selected on the Pulldown Menu at the bottom.
- It is also suggested you select and order the addressbooks higher on the page. (This ordering is used only when you type a name on an address line in Compose, then click Expand Names.)
- Click Save Options
- To view your address book as a list, return to the main index and click Compose
- Click Address Book
This should give you the list of entries on the left. You can transfer them directly to an address line by selecting them (individual or multiple) then clicking the To>> (or other) button. Then Click OK.
