Checking Caught Spam
| This page is relevent only to the Cyllene and student email servers.
Webmail spam is refiled into separate folders which can be checked if expected mail does not arrive. The spam folders will be recycled twice a month, and messages in the oldest file will be deleted at that time.
Three mail folders will be used (kspam, kspam1 and kspam2), and tagged spam immediately diverted to the (kspam) folder.
In order to check your caught SPAM folders ( kspam, kspam1 and kspam2), you
will need to log in to the Webmail system. Once you have logged in, the directions below can guide you through checking your caught spam.

To check what messages have been caught, click on one of the folders kspam,
kspam1 or kspam2 in the Mail area of the window. The
kspam folder contains the most recent spam-tagged messages, while kspam2 holds
the oldest. You will have at least the past four weeks of caught spam available at all times.
