UWA Email Policy - important information for all UWA email users

Spam and Unwanted Email - how it is managed

Email at UWA is provided by your local IT Support section. Some sections have their local IT Support provided by ITS and use the central Microsoft Exchange Server, some local IT Sections run their own email systems and others use the ITS server Cyllene. Contact your local IT support for more information.

Cyllene Email

Staff with accounts on the ITS central exchange server are provided with email and calendaring.

These can be accessed from home through the Exchange Outlook Web Access (OWA) website.

Staff whose local Support is provided by ITS are provided with Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Entourage to access their mail and calendar.


The Library and many Faculties and Schools run their own mail servers.

Please contact your local IT Support Staff for information regarding your email account.

Some departmental email can be accessed through the UWA Webmail system

A number of local IT sections of the University provide their staff with email through the ITS server Cyllene. Contact you local IT Support Staff to find out if your section uses Cyllene.
