Do I need a cyllene username to access UWA email when I am away?
Not necessarily. Some faculties and schools provide a web page allowing access to the departmental mail server. Check with your local computer staff. Some sections provide access to their servers via the UCS webmail system. Check the server menu on the webmail login page, and if you have a username on one of the servers listed, just select the appropriate server an log in. It may also be possible to redirect your UWA mail to one of the external web-based mail service providers: eg hotmail or yahoo. Ask your local computer administrator how you have your mail redirected. If you use this method, be aware of any size limitations on the mailbox of your chosen service and ensure that you keep it sufficiently cleared. |
