Who can have a cyllene username/account?
The UCS staff server (cyllene) is available to provide a basic mail service, intended primarily for staff and associates in units which don't have their own servers. Students have their own server and will no longer be given cyllene usernames. All usernames/accounts are charged back to the unit, and therefore authorisation of all accounts is necessary. Some schools and faculties with their own servers may not allow their staff members access via UCS, preferring that they use the local server. Check with your departmental computing or administrative staff as to the situation in your area. |
