Cyllene FAQs

Webmail says "Login failed". I'm sure I'm using the right password.

Students should ensure they are using the email username and not student number. Those using the student server can find out what the username is by logging into Pheme. (This does not apply to cyllene users, and most likely not to users of the other webmail servers.)

If you can't log into Pheme, use the Forgotten Password link on the left to reset your password. It may take up to half an hour for your new password to start working with Webmail.

Those who do not use the student server should ensure they have selected the correct server before entering the appropriate username and password. Departmental accounts (not student or Cyllene) should contact the their local IT Support section if they continue to get a "Login failed" message.
