How do I attach a document?

  1. Log in to Webmail
  2. Click New Message (top menu) and enter your address(es) and subject
  3. Type any additional text
  4. Click Attachments (or scroll to the bottom of the page)
  5. A panel appears with a Choose file button
  6. Click the Choose file button and locate the file you wish to attach
    Its name should appear in the box.
  7. Click the Update button on the far right of the line
  8. Repeat Steps 6 to 7 to add more than one. However, be aware that excessively large messages cannot be sent and that the encoding required to make an attachment acceptable for mailing can double its size.
  9. Scroll to the bottom of the page using scroll bar on right and you should see listed the files that have been attached. These can also be removed from the list:
    Click (tick) the Delete? box and then click Update
  10. Scroll back to the top and send by clicking Send Message.

We are aware that some computers with very small screens may not allow scrolling down far enough for the attachments section to be displayed. First try the following steps - if you have no success with that, you could experiment with your display settings. Otherwise you may need to use a different computer.

  1. Log into Webmail
  2. Click Options/Mail on the side menu
  3. Under Message Options, click on Message Composition
  4. Ensure Compose messages in a separate window is not ticked.
  5. Click Save Options, then try New message again - you should now be able to scroll down to reach the Attachments section
