Audio Visual - Instruction of Users

Policy

The Audio Visual Unit has developed an on-line web based training program suitable to instruct users on how to correctly use the standard UWA audio visual equipment located in Central Teaching Venues.  This can be accessed from the Audio Visual training web pages.  Your computer will require as a minimum the following -

The Audio Visual Unit also provides and promotes classes in the use of audio visual equipment at a level suitable for the presentation of academic lectures.   These classes are held at the commencement of each academic year and are free of charge to academic staff.

All users of audio visual equipment who require instruction at times other than above should contact the Audio Visual Unit on 6488 2026 to arrange instruction at a mutually convenient time.  There is no charge for this service.

All users of audio visual equipment outside of normal hours (before 8.30am and after 5.00pm) should arrange for instruction prior to the booking date.   There is no charge for this service.

All users of audio visual equipment outside of normal hours who require on-call technical support or instruction must request this support when placing their booking.  A fee applies to all users and venues for this service.  The current charge is $5 per hour for on-call and $40 per hour for call out.
